Case Study: Illuminating Hope and Impact with La Rabida Children’s Hospital
We collaborated with La Rabida Children’s Hospital to create a four impactful films, each showcasing a different facet of the hospital’s mission, values, and community partnerships. These films were designed to connect emotionally with diverse audiences, inspire action, and honor the people and organizations that make La Rabida’s work possible. By blending cinematic visuals with personal narratives, the series brought La Rabida’s story to life in a way that brings the essence of it's community to life. From whimsical storytelling to personal reflections and community-driven impact, each film played a crucial role in celebrating La Rabida’s mission and fundraising goals. We've honed the method for creating the magic in our films over years of study, practice and artistry - centering community first. Everything is co-created to ensure authenticity and care. We are so proud of the results!
Case Study: Association House of Chicago - Where History Meets Hope
Association House of Chicago has been a pillar of support for underserved communities since its founding in 1899. Over the years, it has evolved to meet the changing needs of the people it serves, creating culturally responsive and trauma-informed programs designed to empower individuals and families. For the 125th anniversary celebration, the organization aimed to create a video that would resonate with supporters by highlighting the people and voices that make up the heart of its mission: resilience, resistance, and reimagination. Our goal: To motivate our audience to want to join the vibrant culture they have curated, support the work and join the dance party! That’s how we wrote our film: Where History Meets Hope.
Case Study: Press Forward Chicago – Elevating Local News for a Stronger Democracy
Our team was approached to create a series of documentary-style videos for The MacArthur Foundation's Press Forward Chicago, a newly launched initiative aimed at reshaping the future of local journalism. The project’s mission was clear: support small, independent news outlets in Chicago to strengthen community cohesion, amplify civic participation, and enhance government accountability. We were tasked with producing a film that could both celebrate the importance of local news and galvanize support from philanthropic donors to ensure its sustainability.
