Who would have thought the inability to make a decision would lead to one of the greatest decisions ever? This girl. When asked the infamous question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” the answer was always different…an architect, a zoologist, or maybe a doctor. Since I couldn’t make a decision, I figured why not an actress (Plus, playing a doctor, I wouldn’t really be responsible for another’s life). Aiming to be an actress led into the discovery of what I wanted to do with my life, video production.

After spending four years of my life at Bowling Green State University, I earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Having worked for news stations coast to coast, I decided it was time to take my thick skin and make the jump into film. I relocated from the state I grew up in (Ohio), and brought my life to the windy city. I’ve been working my way up, jumping from project to project since. From doing nitty griddy work on network shows to script supervising independent films, I truly enjoy engaging in all aspect of video production.

When I’m not being a production guru, I can be found at my bucktown apartment, covered in acrylic and pencil. And when I’m not covered in paint, I can be found at the gym, covered in sweat. When I’m not being a grotesque girl, I can be found out and about, socializing. I’m what they call a “social butterfly”.

Five Goals for my experience at Fig:

1. To get my hands involved in as many new production facets as possible.

2. To absorb new takes and views on production from those around Fig.

3. I want to be a stronger, and more well-rounded director, producer, and editor.

4. To be able to create a worthwhile website, explaining the condition known as “Ankylosing Spondylitis”, as well as illustrate the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

5. To learn how to become the ultimate Deejay.
