I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and have been living in the city for three years now.

I lived in a few different neighborhoods and currently call Logan Square home.  I think Chicago is amazing in the summer and definitely take advantage of the beach, street festivals and outdoor concerts.  I am a finishing my economics degree at Roosevelt University and will graduate the end of this year.  I have always been in love with music.  It follows me everywhere and I try my best to make it to as many shows as I can.  I'm exciting to be working with a group of great deejays and look forward to learning from them.  Besides music I love to travel and hope to make a trip to Europe after I graduate.  Some of my trips this year have been Las Vegas, Colorado and Mardi Gras/Saints Super Bowl Party in New Orleans.  Throughout college I have been the event planning committee of a few different organizations.  During my time with Fig I hope to utilize my creative side and learn everything I can about the industry.

Five Goals for my experience at Fig:

1. I would like to work on my skills collaborating with people to reach our common goal, to help each other think of things we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. Generating ideas that puts us far apart form anyone else.

2. To increase my creative drive by working with people with different hobbies and interests. This would give me the opportunity to learn about new things and expand my horizon.

3. To become a great deejay and be able to share my love of music. I would like to come out of this internship knowing everything I can about this.

4. Learn some techniques that the professionals use in film and photography. I would also like to have a better understanding of editing programs. You never know where you could end up so the more I know the better.

5. I would like to learn the business inside and out and be able to use my professional skills and creativity to help Fig with its goals.
