I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO: home of the Cardinals and toasted ravioli.
In 2006, I attempted to live la vida loca for nine months in Miami, but realized very quickly that I very much preferred that Midwestern happy way of life. So I left Miami and came back up north to Chicago to brave the bitter cold. I am now a senior at Loyola University and am studying film and communications studies.
I never had knack for sports--or physical activity in general. Instead, I preferred a good book and a great film to occupy my time. This hobby turned into a thirst to learn all that I could about the production and post-production processes of filmmaking. I am most passionate about video editing, and I am excited to perfect this craft with Fig.
To escape the biting wind and the long snowy months, I occasionally flee to Sarasota, Florida, where my parents have conveniently set up permanent camp. Like a solar panel, I fly down south to refuel on the sun and come back to Illinois feeling refreshed (and a couple shades darker). |
