I like to consider myself as a thinker. I love movies. You can find me in the movie theater often, checking out the latest blockbuster. I enjoy everything from indie films to multi-million dollar special effects films (although to be honest, I enjoy the latter much more). My little brother (who also is a movie fanatic) and I enjoy taking on the roles of Ebert and Roeper weekly. Our friends do not enjoy this as we also feel the need to tell them what movies they should avoid or go see; perhaps my brother and I should look into making our own show. Jurassic Park changed my life. After seeing that film in my younger days, it inspired me to become a part-time writer (my stories consisting of tornadoes leveling cities overrun by dinosaurs). Okay, so perhaps nothing came out of that, but my imagination helped me in creating epic stories when I would play with my LEGO’s, keeping me indoors and busy. I love movies like Star Wars, Transformers, anything Marvel, anything that makes me feel like a kid and again and gives me an excuse to enjoy it. I own a Wii and must I say it is fantastic. LOST is my favorite television show and the best show ever. Period.

My parents are Puerto Rican, and I couldn't be prouder to belong to such a rich culture. Puerto Rican food is the best in the world. If you have not tried it, make plans to do so this weekend.

I graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Cinema. The reason I choose Digital Cinema was so that I did not have to be sitting behinds books for hours on end, and in the long run allowing me to do something fun. At DePaul, I learned a variety of skills (pre-production, production, cinematography, editing), all of which I hope to improve upon while I am here at Fig. I like to edit, but there is nothing like being behind the camera. I love to envision things in my mind, and hopefully I can get the chance to share what is in my head visually during my internship. I hope to make music videos one day for big artists and perhaps even one day work on a major motion picture. Photography is also something I enjoy, and although I haven't dabbled in it too much lately I hope to get my hands on a camera more often now that I am at Fig. Photoshop is my friend.

I also am a youth leader in my local church and a worship leader. My faith strengthens me. I love helping others and know that Fig will help me to manifest this desire. I want to make people happy with whatever I do.

My goals here at Fig?

1. Learn everything I possibly can.
2. Become a better individual, learn to adapt to every kind of situation and lead.
4. Improve my video skills.
3. Master Final Cut.
5. Edit a large-scale project on my own.
