I was born and raised in mid-Michigan. I moved to a suburb of Detroit, MI to attend Architecture school where I completed my undergraduate degree. During my college years I would roam around the city of Detroit taking photographs of some of the urban decay and abandoned buildings. I am still amazed that some of those building were left to the natural elements to decompose.

Some of my interests are – architecture, photography, building things, web design / graphics, figuring out how things work, sustainable design and construction.

I'm really excited to stretch my photography and web design skills beyond their current levels here at Fig media!

Five Goals for my experience at Fig:

1. Be a better photographer! I would like to work on directing / posing models, learning to utilize lighting, and developing a concept before I start a shoot.

2. Have the confidence to photograph a wedding - You only get one chance with a wedding.

3. Learn the Wordpress blogging platform inside and out.

4. Learn to take great photos of Architecture.

5. Learn to be more efficient and achieve better results using Photoshop to edit photos.
