I enjoy all aspects of
media but film and video have become my passion.
I am from a small town in southern
Indiana called Newburgh. I came to Chicago after transferring to DePaul
from Western Kentucky University. The big city was calling me you could
say. I am a soon to be senior at DePaul University studying Digital Cinema. I heard about Fig while looking for internships here in Chicago, I was
attracted to the website and the diverse amount of skills they provide.
I plan on getting my Masters in film after I graduate from DePaul so
I can become a teacher and impart all of my knowledge I learned at Fig
upon the next generation of filmmakers. I find myself most
happy behind a camera. I love the music of Radiohead, Wilco, Bright Eyes,
and Ben Folds. I am the president of the DePaul Puzzle Solving Club and am
an active member of DeFrag the fundamental gaming club of DePaul's Game
Design program.
Five Goals for my experience at Fig:
1. Increase my experience in the real world of video in a large market area.
2. Make myself an important aspect of the Fig team and a difficult act to
follow for future interns.
3. Be a friend to all of the Fig Team
4. Provide my unique view for people to use for ideas in the media projects.
5. Learn about things I need to work on to become a stronger person and
professional in the work place.
