Michele's background is rich and diverse. Born in Wheeling, WV. she grew up on an eccentric farm in Ohio near West VA. At age ten she lived in a house full of hippies and attended alternative school in Columbus, Ohio and later the first magnet arts high school in Houston.
She's lived in Columbus, Houston, Los Angeles, NYC, London, Greece, and also spent time in Italy and France. She obtained a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and studied in NYC with professional artists and art critics. Michele has held various positions in her career and continues to paint and show at alternate spaces in the US. |
