Megan became a member of the fig dj team in 2006. She plays to an array of crowds, and specializes in current music, hip-hop, electro, lounge, and indie rock. Megan frequently plays for the young hip crowds all over Chicago, but can mix it up at other events as well. She has traveled
nationally to DJ, invited in both 2007 and 2008 to be a
guest DJ at the Museum of Contemporary Art's First Fridays, and is a member of the fig
residency at Rockit Bar and Grill.
Megan is also a local DJ for fashion events in Chicago. She has played for the Chicago Social Bridal show (featuring Vera Wang) at the Peninsual (2007) and recently, the Trump Tower (2008). She deejayed for Maria Pinto's 2007 fashion show at Sepia as well as Jenny Yoo's fashion show at Lumen. She also deejayed for the hip crowd at the opening of Intermix, Chicago's newest designer boutique, as well as for a NACE award-winning event. She recently was booked by Vogue for the opening of Bebe on Intermix. She has performed for over 50 other private events including the Shedd's annual Venetian Night, Chicago Social events, and various weddings, fundraisers, and other events with crowds ranging from 40 to 2,000 people. Megan loves playing music and brings fun energy to each event.
