I received a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University. I started the first Telecom Club at IU helping students interface with the department and alumni, which led me to producing and organizing an annual networking conference called MultiVisions. I also worked as a camerawoman and floor director for the morning news at ABC News Channel 15 in 2006. I have a huge passion for leadership and I attended a nationally known conference called LeaderShape, where I trained to lead with integrity.
Another passion and a gift of mine is theatre. I have produced and directed six plays. I was assistant director for a production of "The Exonerated" at the Parkland College Theatre and had the opportunity to work with Rachael Dietkus (who served on the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva) and one of the actual exonerated, Delbert Tibbs. I also produced and directed "That Takes Ovaries," a play about bold, brave women. The production raised over $2,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Additionally, I love being involved with all types of sports. I ice skated for 14 years and would love to continue as a coach. Recently, I finished my second triathlon with a group called Team in Training. My goals include learning to sail, go on point in ballet, and finish a half ironman triathlon.
I am excited to bring my gifts as a leader and creative force to fig, as a producer, videographer, photographer, video editor, and resident DJ. I love challenging myself to be the best I can be and trying new, different ways of creating art. |
